Hello! I’ll try to explain in the briefest way possible! I have a light show set up for a band. The drummer has a Roland SPD SX that they use to run tracks from. I use the MIDI out from the SPD to sync with a light show in Ableton. The drummer doesn’t even have to look at or deal with the computer. However, in order to make it work with the band’s setup, Ableton HAS to hit a midi ‘stop’ note before the drummer triggers the next song or it throws everything off. My question - is there some sort of tiny indicator light I can put near the drummer to send a DMX signal to them when it hits that stop note? I don’t want to use a big DMX light or par can or something like that where the audience can see it. Looking for a tiny indicator light I can just clip or set near the drummer so they know it’s ok to trigger the next song.
